Fans of the Transformers, it is time to celebrate! At last, our dreams have come true. It’s been a long, exasperating history of not only six live-action films that were mid to downright awful, plus the 1986 animated movie and it’s about time Hasbro and Paramount Release something that makes sense that isn’t the movies. Transformers One is a thrilling, glamorous and graphically intensive CGI animated feature with all action packed scenes entertainment, humor, and yes, a little intelligence integrated through relevant script writing with strong messages. The images were created for children; but the cartoon handles such issues as friendship, oppression, betrayal, hatred, even the essence of a hero with remarkable clarity. Lower your expectations as a triad because Transformers One replaces the bar for the remaining series which has been in circulation for a long time.

Fifty cycles later, after the surface of Cybertron was rendered inhospitable to any life by violent antagonists Quintessons, there were sentient robots living deep in Iacon City, which had and was governed by a strong caste system. Those who possess a transforming cog are able to turn into a vehicle and fight. They are the bourgeoisie, while the rest are travaille non-cogging automatons They are tasked mainly with the energon mining that used to flow like hairpins, and was cut off suddenly after the ancient civil war that snatched away the Matrix of Leadership.

The plot begins with a troublemaking mining robot Orion Pax (Chris Hemsworth) and his furious best friend D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry). Orion is always getting into trouble because he has only one business from the purpose. He constantly uncovers restricted caches and learns everything possible on the Matrix. Sentinel Prime (Jon Hamm), the commander infused inside Cybertron and most advanced of the Primes, expeditions to the ground to retrieve it. It is common belief of every kind whether an ordinary mechanical, a transformer or even a human. They all think that the Matrix will help them and free the energon troves that are hidden under the treacherous jungle.

Elita (Scarlett Johansson), who is Orion and D-16’s boss for the mining shift has had enough of their stupid behaviour. She is on the verge of promotion soon and is about to be transferred for good out of the mines. Elita will not allow herself to be jeopardized as a result of lazy-headed robots. Orion is afraid of her but devises another absurd scheme in order to show that even the low class miners are respectable people. D-16 is not interested in that at all, but he always stands by Orion’s side and defends him although he doesn’t want to.

The first obvious difference to past features is the human facial characteristics. Miners who can’t transform they do not have battle masks. This also helps the film makers to make them young and more expressive. Orion, D-16 and Elita are treated like young girls. Wasp explains that they also aren’t almost as big as superior robots. Class differences can be seen and felt and are very important for the development of the story. You regard them as sincere and devoid of self-importance. Orion shares ambitions that he is more than what is prescribed at the station. D-16 arises like a dreamer but he is aware that in doing so he is preparing himself for disappointment. In his eyes, the most ambitious a miner could aspire to be was a worker. Work for reward, fulfil quotas and work for the ethnic group to be successful as a team.

While the plot gets thick, the differences between Orion and D-16’s philosophies are becoming more and more irreconcilable. Big mac essay. Their quest to discover the Matrix reveals unsettling truths that overturn all that they learned. How do you propose we recover from disintegration of everything we believe in? To put it plainly, D-16 does not take it well. His attention and feeling change over time until it causes heated wrath. Orion observes the change but does not stop an evolution that severs a connection that shaped them both. There’s a fine line between hate and love. This however leads me to the plot of the movie in question, Optimus prime and Megatron, a brother who grows up conditions as enemy is the highlight of the movie and mind blowing.

All the chuckles are added to the movie. The last brought B-127, a chronic chatterbox junk robot, into many unfortunate events and it was funny. Cooley, who earned his Oscar thanks to ‘Toy Story 4’, puts everything into its place. The movie contains noticeable discriminations yet does not get too pessimistic or too brutal. It helps a lot when D-16 is able to act normally, as it is not too rosy since the drama has begun. The writers would also have digs at the Transformers competition of the 80s as the story progresses. The older fans are likely to know and enjoy the aspersions.

Transformers One most definitely must be watched in the best 3D theater possible. Iacon City will delight every viewer in terms of the production design as buildings and factories are built turned upside down. What if the big apple was not flat at all but round with trains that move on colorful tracks getting faster and faster through each inch and every corner. The level of depth perception is absolutely awesome as well as the visual field. The bulk of the action takes place on the surface until we go to entirely different surroundings. We immediately discover that Cybertron is not entirely metallic nor is it a chunk of rock floating in outer space. Hats off to Cooley and his production team for creating brand new worlds that bear not even the slightest resemblance to already established cartoons and films.

Transformers One manages to appeal to all cosplayers wannabes. Such an enterprise appears to be on target, considering that it takes an established offering and repackages it in a manner which would satisfy both the most devoted fans and complete novices alike. Cooley is a fan of the source material as well but does not hesitate to add a new spin on iconic characters. My only caveat is that we do not have the ability to enjoy the most impressive performance of Peter Cullen portraying Optimus Prime. Hemsworth is perfectly fine as Orion, however, he lacks the deep, commanding voice that the Autobot commander requires. In this sense, not every change made in this part is for the best but in overall the semi-final is a complete knockout. Wait for the credits to finish.
